Prerequisites for Midwifery & other Programs

Prerequisites are offered as open courses and do not require an application or acceptance into the program. This gives prospective students an opportunity to experience Aviva Institute's unique teaching model first hand, to see if distance education is right for them. After a student has applied and been accepted, courses will be considered transfer credits and apply towards the 100 didactic credits needed for graduation. These courses also apply towards the prerequisites needed for lactation and other maternal/child health programs. Students who have taken Medical terminology or Anatomy and Physiology may transfer them in from other programs if comparable credits.

Birth Doula Course we offer an complete online course here or you can take a weekend workshops in your home community.
