Job Description Overview
Duluth, MN area residents only. This is primarily a work at home position, it does require residency in the Duluth, MN area in order to pick up mail and transcripts. Position requires management of the student record database, all academic and clinical records, and ensures the security and integrity of all records. Processes mail, and on site adminstrative duties. Sorry, this position is not open to students. |
Qualifications
- Previous experience with working with student records and transcripts is desirable but not required.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to understand and work in an academic environment focused on distance learning.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proficient in the use of a XP or Vista operating systems computers.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel.
- Have a computer system no more than three years old, with broadband connection at home. PC XP or Vista, no Macs.
- Having taken distance courses is highly desirable.
- Able to implement academic policies regarding student records.
- Experience in customer relations in a retail or service industry.
- Attentive communication skills, interpersonal sensitivity, advocacy, self-awareness, self-direction, adaptability, conflict management, organization and time management skills, ethical judgment, change process awareness/experience.
- Ability check email on regular basis, at least six days a week.
Hours, Wages & Compensation:
Salary is based on education and experience, $15-17/hour. 10 hour a week, with occasional increases to 30 hours a week.
