Tuition Increases: Tuition will increase significantly once our accreditation is complete. However, students accepted into the program will get the tuition rate for that program year, with a rate increase guaranteed not to exceed 5%, until graduation or 2012, whichever is first.
Additional costs:
Books/Media: Budget about $250-350.00 a term for books or about $2600-3800.00 total, less if you can get used books.
Basic Midwifery Equipment: Starting your second term you will need your own BP cuff, fetascope and basic equipment. $100-500.00
Software and hardware: Depending on your system, there may be upgrades needed. Some courses may require software or hardware. Most of our materials are presented electronically, however if you like to hold paper in your hands, budget money for printer ink cartridges.
Clinical Fees: Most preceptor fees are included in the clinical tuition fees, however some clinical sites require an additional fee. This is usually based on how many births a month that one serves. This can range from $50.00 to $400.00 a month.
